Position: Technical Services Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage local staffing, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation, and disciplinary actions.
  • Establish and maintain regular communications with the organization's staff, vendors, and customer base
  • Assist in the provisioning of services, including servers (Windows, Linux), network changes and assist with internal IT initiatives
  • Ensure team performance that meets or exceeds established metrics for billable time, ticket management and product loyalty
  • Interface with customers to audit quality, track project timelines and ensure the highest customer satisfaction
 
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft products
  • Strong knowledge of routing and firewall technologies
  • Fundamental knowledge of email, storage, power and data center technologies
  • Proven experience in IT infrastructure design and planning
  • Strong understanding of project management principles
  • Participating in process creation and evaluation for the Technical Services Group

* Previous experience with service ticketing systems is a benefit

 
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Implementation of corporate policies regarding HR, training, service delivery, and documentation
  • Supervise the technical team to ensure compliance with checklists, directives, policies and initiatives relating to core technologies implemented at customer sites
  • Adhere to, train the team on, and enforce industry best practices
  • Excellent understanding of the organizations goals and objectives
  • Strong leadership skills and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Highly self motivated and directed with attention to detail
  • Exceptional customer service orientation
 
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION

Bachelors Degree or better
AND/OR
5 Years as Technician or Engineer for an IT service provider


Salary is commensurate with experience
