• Provide remote and onsite network services to customers
• Design and deploy network infrastructure, switching, routers and firewalls, servers, VOIP telephone systems, battery backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Maintain a working knowledge of product and industry developments
• Manage workflow through a service oriented ticketing system
• Create and evaluate customer technology roadmaps
  Work with Sales and Customer Relations on identifying new opportunities
• Participate in ongoing training
• Assume ownership of service tickets until resolution

• Knowledge of IP and basic routing principals
• Ability to install and configure Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems
• Ability to install and configure Microsoft Server 2000, 2003 and 2008 Network Operating Systems
• Fundamental understanding of Email server concepts, antivirus and antispam technologies
• Fundamental understanding of NAT and firewall concepts

* Exposure to Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft Sharepoint Portal Server and Microsoft Small Business Server is a benefit

Exposure to SonicWALL or ShoreTel products is a bonus!

• Satisfactory oral and written skills
• Passing score on the pre-interview job skills test
• Proven ability for self managed calendars and tracking of time
• Active participation in team meetings and development of process

Associates degree or better in Computer Sciences or Information Technologies field of discipline

2 Years of Technical Support Experience
OR
2 Years as a Network Administrator
